shaped by memory and heritage.
Anaa Khan is a textile and fashion designer who has had a deep love for creativity since childhood.
As a child, she visited places such as Shahi Qila, Shalimar Bagh and Badshahi Masjid with her parents and cousins. These places deeply influenced her.
She was fascinated by the way the craftsmen of earlier eras created beauty by hand, bringing together architecture, nature, ornament and craftsmanship. That feeling stayed with her — she always wondered how the artists of another era had transformed their surroundings and imagination into something beautiful through their hands.
That childhood fascination eventually became part of her creative identity.
To turn her creative instinct into a profession, Anaa studied Textile Design at PUC. She then gained professional experience working with established brands, developing a deeper understanding of textiles, design and craftsmanship.
But she wanted something of her own.
Despite gaining experience within the industry, Anaa always wanted to create something different — something that carried her own identity and visual language.
Finding a Signature
A visual language that could
belong entirely to her.
After years of work, experience and struggle, Anaa began developing her own visual palette and identity. She brought this palette together with the visual language of Mughal art — its architecture, ornament, nature, flora and craftsmanship — interpreted through a contemporary fashion perspective.
